Is Lakme Lip Love Lip Care Vanilla your armour for summers?

Ok.. before we get into today's post, I would like to know your take on the new controversy where Bastar's Collector, a young IAS officer, has been given notice because he welcomed the PM wearing sunglasses and a dark coloured shirt? Well, I seriously want to read what we feel. 

Anyhow, now coming to today's post. As summers arrive, we all start looking for products that have SPF. Afterall, we all need sun protection don't we? So a lipbalm with SPF does sound a lucrative thing. Almost every brand is now coming up with SPF wala products. And Lakme too launched the tinted lip balms with SPF. I have already reviewed the strawberry variant.

On the Outside
Basic colourful packaging, that gives all information on the product. The outer packaging looks quite colourful. But this seems to be the best thing about this product. Inside is a tube which is light yellow in colour with a transparent cap. The packaging quality is really flimsy and bad. I had already mentioned it earlier.

On the Inside

The lip balm is light yellow in colour in twist up form. The balm has a balmy core, which means majorly its the core that does all the trick. Hmmmm.... While the other variant does a decent job, this isn't that great. Neither does it moisturise very well, nor does it leave it a nice tint. Infact, it leaves a strong whitish cast if applied more than once. Infact, it's better to use it at night so having SPF is no great deal.

Thumbs up for

- A well known brand like Lakme.

-  Pocket friendly too. 
- Has SPF 15. 

 Thumbs down for

-  Doesn't moisturise the lips enough. 
- Leaves a very bad white cast on the lips.
- Has a strong waxy feel. 
- Very bad packaging.

The Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Vanilla may be good since it has SPF 15, but other than that, it is not one of the best variants of its brand to try out. In my opinion, skip it.
