Hi dearies, 
How's the week going for you girls? The weather here is becoming so unpredictable. Till yesterday, it was super hot and today, it's breezy... Aha! February! 
Two more days and the year would be down by two months! That's so soon. 

Anyways, today I am reviewing a product which kind of has mixed response from me. I like the texture, the price and everything. However, I would have loved it even more if it gave colour in just one swipe. 
Before you think what I am talking or rather, blabbering about.

 On the Outside

The Maybelline Colossal Kohl in Jewelled Jade is just like it's black and Turquoise sisters. Yellow body and retractable liner. However, what is missing is the outer carton cover. Aww! Dunno why Maybelline did not add it this time. The lettering is in bright jade mixed blue. Love the packaging.

On the Inside

Maybelline Colossal Kohl in Jewelled Jade is a beautiful colour indeed. It is named Jade which is green, but has a strong green undertone in Blue. Those who feel that the Turquoise Kohl is light for them can check this one out. Creamy, smooth and easy to line. However, the pigmentation is where it lacks. Unlike the black and turquoise ones, this needs to be swiped atleast three times to get the best colour. Even in the hand swatch below, it has been swiped twice. However, the staying power is quite impressive, as it stays put for about 6 to 7 hours and looks amazing to break the monotony of black. Overall, at its price its a good option for those who like a little metallic sheen in blue. For those who prefer totally matte, the Eyeconic range is better. I also like the fact that these can be used on the waterline too.

-  A beautiful blue with hints of green that breaks the black monotony.  

-  Good packaging. 
-   Decent wear time.

- Doesn't smudge or fade a lot, and looks good even after 6 hours. 
- Does not cause any allergy or sensations even on water line.
- Can be a good base for smokey eye looks. 
- Well priced.

The Maybelline Colossal Kohl in Jewelled Jade is indeed a good option for everyday wear, specially when you are bored of black. At its price, it's indeed something you can buy, specially if you like blues. However, Maybelline could have improved a bit on the pigmentation part and this would have been a 5/5 product.
