How's life my lovelies....
It has become super cold now. The entire day seems to be foggy and I really don't want to come out of my warm blanket and go to work... :-( But, one has to coz such is life dearies.
Anyways, i personally feel that winters should also have some freezing days coz that is when you can have layering of clothes for looking fashionably cute :-) he he he !
In this chilly weather girls, here I am presenting to you a very very HOT lip colour that I feel is perfect for all seasons. Presenting to you my dearies is the Inglot AMC lip pencil in shade 28.
I have always been lusting for a Fuchsia pink for my lips and then, I saw this at the blog sale of my dear blogger friend Sammanita Modak. When I saw her review and how sexy the colour looked on her, I immediately got it from her and am now loving every bit of this beautiful lip crayon.
Price : Rs 750 (that's a lil steep I know)
Availability : Inglot stores and majorbrands.in
What the company claims : Medium hard, matte jumbo pencil. Great staying power makes it an alternative for lip liner used by professionals for colouring lips. Moisturising properties achieved by the complex of lanoline substitutes and avocado butter. PARABEN FREE FORMULA NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS 4.5g/0.16 US OZ .
The shade 28 is a chubby crayon stick in black colour with a same colour cap, that fits well. The shade number is mentioned below and it's only a number, no name :-(
The pencil has to be sharpened and hence, can lead to product wastage which some people may not like since it is expensive. The colour is the true fuchsia pink and is pure matte. By being pure matte, you may realise that it is not easy to glide it on the lips, so its used best when lips are exfoliated and hydrated with lip balm.
I found that colour to be the one that would suit almost all skin tones. I have used it as a stain and as a full blown fuschia lip colour as well. Once applied, it is nontransferable and doesn't leave your lovely marks on to cup and glasses :-)
I am quite amazed with the staying power. With food, snacks and drinks, it stays for about 5 plus hours and then, leaves a beautiful and lovable stain. Since its paraben free and not tested on animals, one does feel guilt free using it :-) Also, the pigmentation is super awesome and it covers even badly pigmented lips :-)
Here is the swatch of the colour :
I find it a really lovely colour and these crayons are available in 23 shades. So am sure you can find one that suits you and atleast one should be there in everyone's kitty :-)
Here is the colour as a stain.
And here comes the LOTD with the lip pencil as a full blown colour.
Overall, I would say that the only con with these pencils would be their drying part and their price. SO on the PEL scale, I can easily give them a 4.5 out of 5. But then, if you love matte, these are a must have.
Have you tried the Inglot AMC lip pencil ? Which is your favourite shade? Do share you views and please leave in comments because it really encourages me and makes me superhappy :-D
