Fab India Charcoal Face Pack : Photos & Quick Review

Heya my lissome ladies…

You must be thinking why this title quick review? Actually, am keeping a little busy and a little confused these days. So while I wanted to do a whole big review and a makeup look as well, I just could not find time to click pix and hence, just doing a quick review. Now that doesn’t mean that the review will be not doing complete justice to the product. Ofcourse it would.

Ok, before the review, how was your weekend? Mine was super awesome as my teenage bestie flew down especially from Delhi to spend the weekend with me and another school friend who too lives in Lucknow. It was so much fun to relive and revive old days and old memories. Those who are with me on FB and Instagram saw some pix as well which I had shared. We remember all the funny things we did as teenagers and this was a good start indeed for my week. Also, since my birthday is just round the corner (YES YES YES J ), this visit for really special.
And also, thanks to Richa from Coralwithblues. She is a really special person who made my recent “dull” days brighten up.

Coming back to the review. This was a product which I picked up as an impulse buy as I like Fabindia stuff in general.
And I do not regret a single moment of buying it because it is my instant pick-me-up-kind of a face pack that leaves the skin super clean.
Presenting to you my lovelies,

the Fab India Charcoal Face Pack.

Fab India Charcoal Face Pack

What the brand claims :
Charcoal is known for its abilities to absorb impurities. This pack containing charcoal uses Multani Mitti as its base. It absorbs dirt and oil from the pores, leaving skin clearer and healthier.

Price :
Rs 250 for 100 ml

Fab India Charcoal Face Pack
Availability :
Fab India Stores and also, through its website.

Quick look :

The deep grayish black coloured pack is housed in a tub which has a screw open cap. The tub packing seems a little unhygienic, but I always take out the required amount with a spoon. The pack is a thick substance which smells of lemongrass oil (it is also a key ingredient) and is a little difficult to apply directly. I generally use it after a scrub and add a little rosewater to it so that the thickness is reduced and then, it becomes easier to apply. I keep it for 15 minutes and don’t let it dry completely. Then, using wet fingers, I gently massage it on the face and wash off.

What I get is squeaky clean skin which looks scrubbed and cleansed well. Infact, the glow is like a mini facial. Also, my pores look clean and the oiliness is gone. The effect lasts for a day which is good. However, those with dry skin may find it drying the skin so they can skip this pack. The glow is there, skin looks clean and I am refreshed with the lovely lemongrass fragrance. Job done J

Fab India Charcoal Face Pack
Overall, I rate this pack as 4.5 out of 5 on the PEL scale as it does what it claims. I didn’t like the texture but it can be managed.

P.S. : Its my b’day on June 5… Yippie… and to make it special for all of you as well, I will be hosting the blog’s second giveaway… Yeah! My birthday month giveaway where I would give 5 winners a chance to try an amazing and luxurious product. Stay tuned and ask your friends to be here on June 6, 2014 J
