MAC Deelight creemsheen glass - review, swatch and LOTD

I am so loving winters. It's been foggy here and feels like Christmas already. One part of the Gemini me wants to go out and enjoy and the other one just wants to sit home and snuggle in that blanket with a cup of hot soup :-) Sheer bliss :-)

Since yesterday, I am down with a very bad cold. Yet, I don't wish to dislike winters and I will not. Last week, I started off with the preview of the forthcoming week reviews and almost everyone loved the idea. So by popular vote, the lovely MLBB gloss won and here is the review. 

Presenting to you my beautiful friends, the MAC Creemsheen lipglass in Deelight. My most favourite lipgloss for all those days when I want to look natural, but also want that lovely pout ;-)

Now there is a very beautiful story connected to this creemsheen lipglass (I like the way MAC calls it). I got this from my MAC Queen, Agnirupa. For me, the lady, alongwith my dear Jyo, are the queens of lip swatches of MAC lipcolours. As I was already looking for a nude lipgloss, it just fitted the bill. Interestingly, after a while I completely forgot about it and got some other stuff. But lovely Agni waited for me and reminded me again, to which I was like "Shit, How can I forget my MAC?" So finally, this cute little cylinderical tube with the elixir of love is mine now.. Thanks Agni :-) 

What MAC claims: A lip finish that fuses the creamy, sheen-filled nature of Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of MAC Lipglass. Soft, comfortable, non-sticky. Applies with a doe-foot applicator. Use as a top layer to its namesake Lipstick or on its own.

Price : Rs 990 (that's steep I know :( Although needs to be checked. I saw this online. 

Available at all MAC outlets. I have read it's a part of the permanent collection. 

According to the internet and MAC website, Deelight is a mid-tone milky plum. But for medium tone girls, this is the perfect MLBB lipgloss. It has no shimmer, which makes it good to be worn not just over any lipsticks, but also bare after lining the lips with a similar lip pencil. 

The doe foot applicator is perfect to pick up the right amount of lipgloss for both the upper and lower lip. Since i have pigmented lips, I fill my lips with a nude lip pencil and then use this gloss. And man! is this colour sexy? It's a muted plum toned pink, that is of so very beautiful for everyday use and also, for those smokey eye looks. 

The lipglass is quite pigmented. One swipe is good enough to cover the light pigmentation. Like other MAC glosses, this is also sticky but not uncomfortably sticky. It does transfer on cups though :-(

Now coming on the staying power. Hmmm.... on my lips, after having the base of a lipliner, this stays for about 4 hours after a small snack and drinks. And after a full meal, it still stays although the glossiness reduces by 60 per cent, for one more hour. So girls, this is really a superb staying power.

Overall, I would say I am in love with this lipglass and anyone looking for a perfect nude gloss and can spend a bit should surely go for this one. It's really a 'DEEELIGHT"... :-)
