So, let’s move to this week’s review. As you all know, the blog is currently focusing on product reviews that can make your winters better. This year the winters have been really strong and entire northern India has been witnessing cold waves from the hills. And all these winds are taking a toll on my skin and hair. I have changed my skin care regime a bit and am loving the effects.

 On the Outside

The Biotique Saffron Dew Youth Cream comes in the newly changed Biotique package of a jar with green lid and a safety lid. The packaging is good for travelling and taking along with you, but since you have to dip your fingers every time to get the product out, hygiene may be an issue. The packaging looks pretty and has all the details… Functional and travel friendly.

On the Inside

The Biotique Saffron Dew Youth Cream is a thick cream which is yellowish white in colour. It smells strongly of saffron, which may be a little irritating for sensitive noses. However, the smell vanishes within a few minutes. The cream is thick, but absorbs well in the skin. It leaves a slight greasy feel for a few minutes, but then the stickiness goes off, leaving the skin soft and smooth.

The Biotique Safrron Dew Youth Cream is a nice day cream, but lacks any UV protection. It is a good cream for dry and normal skin, but those with oily skin may find it a little oily. However, I haven’t seen this cream breaking out. With regular use, this cream does make the skin a little luminous and evens out skin tone. Dry skin and normal skin beauties can definitely for this as it is a really good cream for winters and even summers.
