Hi everyone,
This is my very first post on PEL and I am really excited.
As you may know, I am presently in Birmigham, UK. And tis a season to be jolly… eh! So even this beautiful city cannot remain untouched from the spirit of Christmas. Every nook and corner of the city wears a festive look and the mood… just jolly.

As I present a glimpse of the Christmas mood, here are some bits about

The Frankfurt Christmas Market & Craft Fair

at Birmigham

This market has been there from over a decade and has become a masssive favourite with both residents and visitors to the city from all over UK and Europe. They do a similar style of a market in different parts of the UK.
With over 180 stalls, it is claimed to be the largest outdoor market during Christmas. This fair and market runs for a month starting from 12 November to 22 December… enabling you to shop all your needs before Christmas.

I remember that uptil 2008, the market was restricted to German traders and stalls only. But now one can see people from Europe and even Asia putting up variety of stalls. Stall do have a lot to offer, for instance German hand-crafted items, handbags, toys, musical instruments, organic soaps and cosmetics, organic tea stall etc.

Most popular ones are decorative chocolates, hand carved chocolates, Mulled wine (gluwine) and Nutcrackers. Also Pretzels, bratwursts and schnitzels will tempt your tastebuds along with the hot chocolate.

Ice Skating is another attraction during Christmas, which is again, an outdoor skating arena. It is located within the iconic Centenary Square. It gives you the opportunity to enjoy this winter sport in beautiful city surroundings plus it can accommodate 300 people at any one time!

In order to meet our favourite Father Christmas or Santa Claus, one can visit Bull Ring Shopping Centre which is one of the most popular shopping centre in Birmingham. Santa and his reindeers can be seen around the St.Martins Church, while riding towards North Pole J

That's me !!

That's me again !!

As I rush off to enjoy the fair with my hubby and friends, I hope you all loved these clicks and my post too…

Till we meet next, enjoy Christmas and be jolly…
