Hola chicas, 

I am sure all of you have already started stacking stuff for winters... right! From shampoos to body lotions to moisturisers to lip balms, we just start filling our vanity boxes and bags with stuff that is more moisturing. And off late, I have been trying to add natural, chemical-free products so that less and less chemicals go on my skin. There are some things we cannot substitute but when there are brands offering affordable chemical-free products, why not just go for them! Right? 

So not going any further, I am also writing about a product that is a nice product for enjoying lesser chemicals in winters, and you would surely love to have it in your kitty.

What the brand claims
It protects, moisturises and softens your lips. Smoothes away all dryness and makes lips soft and flake-free. It also repairs damaged lips and removes lip pigmentation when used regularly. It contains essential oil of grapefruit which ensures good blood circulation to give subtle healthy colour to the lips. Jojoba and Wheatgerm oil are natural sources of Vitamin E for healing chapped lips. 
This lip balm is 100 percent natural, free from chemicals, no added preservatives, is vegetarian and not tested on animals.

On the Outside

This is a lip balm which is in a round tub. The outer paper cover in nice handmade paper has all basic details of the product. However, these details are missing from the inside tub and hence, you need to keep this cover. The transparent plastic tub has a black screw cap which fits well. It has a lovely colourful label that looks super cute. Basic, but pretty packaging... Travel friendly too.

On the Inside

The lip balm is whitish in colour and has a soft texture. But it is not heavy or waxy at all. Infact it is so soft that it melts on your lips. However, it doesn't make a white layer on the lips. Instead, it makes them smooth within minutes and the effect stays for about 4 hours with food and water. On application, there is a slight tingling feeling which can be attributed to grapefruit essential oil. But this is not annoying and leaves the lips nicely plump. The smell is fruity and there is no flavour as such. Overall, a nice non-tinted lip balm for everyday use.

-    Affordable with travel friendly packaging. 
-   Does make the lips smooth and heals chapped lips. 

-   good for overnight use or under lipsticks.  
- Improves lip texture with regular use.

-   Tub packaging. Wish it was a stick...  
- No tint. Wishing it comes with a tinted variant soon.

The Mitti Se Grapefruit Lip Balm is a good option if you are looking for chemical-free natural lip balm. It does make the lips smooth without leaving a waxy feeling. Great to use overnight or under your favourite lipsticks, specially in winters.
