Hi my beautiful ladies…

So how was the Diwali weekend? Well with so much fun and family time, I really did not want to come back to work. But what to do, such is life dearies... ;-)

Anyways, I had loads of fun. Tried my hand at making sweets for puja for the first time (those who follow me on instagram got a good glimpse of it... do follow me there) and really had a good time. But as soon as it was over, I realised that winters have actually started setting in. The air is drier now, and it will get worse in days to come. So in went my light lotions and creams and out came the heavier ones. And today I am talking about a body lotion which I like to use for everyday basis.

On the Outside

Parachute surely gets good marks for their packaging. The bottle is beautifully shaped like a woman with a nice curvy figure. And each of the varients is a different coloured bottle. Soft touch is light blue translucent bottle with a flip open cap. All details are mentioned on the bottle and the cap also fits well, making this packaging travel friendly. Full marks to the packaging plus 1 for the cuteness ... 

On the Inside 

This is a non-greasy not very thick lotion which works fine for normal skin that gets dry in winters. The lotion is white in colour and is not very runny. It has a strong coconut kinda smell which vanishes in a few minutes. It gets absorbed well and leaves the skin super smooth. However, the effect is barely for 5 to 6 hours so the 24 hr claim is not true. Over a week, it makes the skin a little better since it has been care for, but no major miracles. Overall, a decent body lotion for everyday use.

The Parachute Advansed Body Lotion Soft Touch is a good drugstore body lotion for normal to dry skin. It does make the skin smooth and the bottle looks really very pretty. Regular usage helps in dealing with dry skin well. Overall, if you are looking for a decent drugstore product with no major miracles, this can be your bet. Do check it...
