Hello beauties,
So winters are coming.... Even as I write this, I can see thick clouds outside and the chilly breeze setting in. Suddenly, I had to take my woolen stole out to brave this newly arrived chill....

SO finally as winters arrive, and also, the festival season kick starts, we decide to change our skin and hair care routine. Festivals are a time to meet and greet a lot of people and ofcourse, we like to look our best from head to toe... Makeup does take care of our face but often other parts get neglected. Off late, I have become a little particular about body care, specially my hands and feet. And hand oils and creams have become my new best friends. Have been using quite a few and now, I can easily share my two cents on some of them....

On the Outside
I like tube packaging in creams as they are easier to carry and you can just pop them in your bag without worrying much. This cream comes in a basic white opaque squeeze tube which has a flip open lid. The hole gives out just the right amount of cream. The packaging has all basic details in blue and the cap fits well. Overall, basic and nice.

On the Inside
Now comes the main part. The cream is thick, white in colour with a pearly kind of a finish. It feels a bit oily initially but goes in well and a little massage is needed to completely absorb it in your skin. It smells a little strong initially but the smell goes down after a while. For those with normal to dry skin, this cream would work well but those with super dry hands will need something more. The moisturisation is also pretty basic and in extreme winters, you may feel the need to reapply after 4 hours. But since it is a travel friendly tube, you wont mind tossing it into your handbag for all day use.

Thumbs up for
-           Affordable with travel friendly packaging.
-       Olive oil as one of the ingredients (In the sea of chemicals)
-     Does smoothen the hands in a long run and makes them smooth on application
-       Good texture.
- A little goes a long way

Thumbs down for
-      Smells a bit strong.
- Will not suit girls with super dry hands.

PEL RATING
4.7 out of 5

PEL SHOUTS
The Vivel Cell Renew Hand cream is a decent drugstore hand cream that does its job well. After two weeks of regular usage, you may realise that your hands are less drier now... so it does work in a long run too. But the moisturisation levels are pretty basic and if you have super dry hands, you may want to skip this...
