Hello my lovelies....
So how is the weather treating you all? I wasn't well for a very long time as I had some stomach infection and even the recovery saw me becoming weak. But thanks to all good wishes, I am much better now.

We all must have felt the divine presence around us at some point of our lives. Often, when we feel low or depressed, we do feel that there is a ray of hope, a divine hope that keeps us going. We do need to delve a little deep and also, keep our trust alive to feel such divinity. At times, some places also make us realise of that divine feeling, in its truest self.

Will talk of such a little more,

So my dearies, presenting the OOTD,

Moments, and divine feelings

featuring Anokhi Jewellery & more

Continuing with the series of exploring some lost heritage, this time we decided to shoot at a very old Shiva temple in the outskirts of the Lucknow city. Alongwith the temple, there is an ancient bridge which isn't used much now but both these buildings are a perfect reflection of the grandeur they once enjoyed. Situated on a tributary called Behta, the Shiva temple and bridge were built between 1786 and 1788 by Maharaja Tikait Rai, during the reign of Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. The structures have stucco decoration and are a beautiful amalgamation of the Hindu and Persian architectural styles. You can read more about it here.

Now, let me talk about this piece of jewellery. As you all know I am in absolute love with Anokhi's grand collection, and this is no different. A beautiful neckpiece that has a bunch of handmade lac beads weaved intricately with coloured thread makes it truly divine. Pair it with any coloured outfit, it just stands out immensely. I paired it with Blue and it did not look stark or different. Instead, it just added to the beauty of the outfit. If you love handcrafted jewellery, Anokhi is your destination.

The outfit is something which I must credit to Abhilasha Mehta, lovely fashion blogger from Looking Good Feeling Fab. She is my ethnic Diva. Infact, I remember she long back told me that I should try palazzos with kurtas. And finally, when I did, I loved the combo on my curvy figure. Thanks a ton for your lovely words Abhi...

This post, and more to come, is in collaboration with Ajay Jain of Waltz Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd. Check out their website here. As I said, Ajay breathes tourism and for him, the true nature of a city is through its old galis and heritage. He lives for showing the unseen side of places known or unknown. PEL, photographer Naeem Chishti and Waltz have decided to showcase some old galis, markets and long lost heritages of the Lucknow city.
