Best Natural Cleanser for oily skin, monsoon care for oily skin, Chemical-free
skin care products in India
By Tarry
Hi my sweetie pies….
Last week has been so bad…. Thanks to just one showers &
lot of road digging, the internet connections went kaput & then, the blog
wasn’t updated. Many of you asked me on the FB inbox & even emails as to
what happened which is really sweet. This is the irony in India. Monsoons,
although they haven’t officially arrived as yet, come with their own set of
woes…. L
Anyways, finally there is some respite & although the
connectivity hasn’t been the best so far, yet I am trying to find ways to keep
the blog updated…. & a Big Hug to Aakriti for agreeing to help J
These days we all are always looking for products that are
sans harmful chemicals like parabens, sls & the stuff. But somehow, most of
these come with a big price tag & not everyone can afford it. We all know
the long term harm these chemicals have. So in my search for affordable harmful
chemical-free products, I came across a fabulous brand. Having tried their
stuff from the past three weeks, I can surely offer my two cents about them.
Presenting to you my dearies,
What
the brand claims
Deep skin cleanser, removes toxins. Nourishes,
stimulates natural healing of skin, & removes blemishes. Contains Nutrient
rich river bed mud soaked in Aloe vera & mixed with sarora.
Price
INR 220 for 100 gms (Believe me, a
little goes a long way)
Availability
Online through Mitti Se’s official
website www.mittise.com & also through
their facebook page. The website also gives details of various cities
where these products are retailing.
On the Outside
I love the brand name & their packaging. ‘Mitti Se’ means
from the earth & boasts of completely natural products. Although they do
use plastic in their packaging, but that doesn’t spoil the naturalness of the
products. The Aloe Mud Cleanser comes in a cylindrical bottle with a silver
screw cap & has a lovely red labeling. Looks really nice on the table.
Also, the bottle is quite travel-friendly & gives all basic details even on
how to use the product. The product can be used both as a deep cleansing mask &
also, as a daily cleanser.
On the Inside
Well, whenever we think of Aloe vera, we think green.
However, this one isn’t. It’s deep grayish in colour, which does look like the
river bed clay or a slightly lighter version of the Dead Sea Clay. It is in a
powder form which has to be mixed with rose water, egg white or just plain
water to make a paste & then apply. It also says that it is safe for babies
as well. It forms a nice but thick paste. I have even mixed it with honey &
curd at times when I want to use it as a mask. It really cleans my pores well
& leaves the skin nice & glowing. However, as a mask, it does dry the
skin & is not suitable for dry skin. But for those with oily skin, this is
a boon & is amazing.
Mixed with a little
water, I have also used it as a cleanser after removing & it does a decent
job in cleaning the skin & removing residual makeup. I also used it on my 2
and a half year old niece mixed with curd and it made her skin super smooth.
Thumbs up for
-
Completely natural with no harmful
chemicals, sls or parabens.
-
Affordable with travel friendly
packaging.
-
Easy to use.
-
Does make the skin smooth and cleans
the pores well.
-
Removes residual makeup and excess oil.
Thumbs down for
-
Not good for those with dry skin as it
can leave the skin drier.
-
Some may find the powder formula messy.
(But its this which keeps it natural)
PEL SHOUTS
No harmful chemicals and completely natural…
WOW! Aren’t these two reasons enough to love Mitti Se Aloe Mud Cleanser and
Revitalising Mask? A wonderful product that does make the skin look and feel
better after a few uses, this is something one must incorporate in our daily
