#TravelIndiaDiaries : Feel like a royalty in this palace
By Aakriti
“At 20, who is about to turn 21
in a month’s time, I cannot see my life filled with words like boredom or
monotony.
Travelling and exploring is what
I want to do, which in turn would let me grow, learn and get new experiences….”
Hi everyone, I’m back with
another amazing travel experience that I have had in Hyderabad two months back
from now on my college excursion. This one left me feeling like a royalty
myself .. wink wink ;-) ;-)
Every time I visit any palaces
or historical royalties, I wish I was born a queen myself. Yes, I am my daddy’s
princess for sure, but a royal queen…. Aaha! The luxury, the exaggerated
buildings, intensive royal treatments and what not!! I wish I could have that
all.
This was the feeling I had as I went
to visit one of the famous palaces in Hyderabad,
THE CHOWMAHALLA PALACE

It looks a tad bit more than
ordinary, very bland and boring from the outside to be honest, but the moment a
person enters inside, nobody can even imagine if it was the same place you
entered as you saw outside. I was spell bound, mesmerised and went all "
WOOOWWWW" with my jaw dropping down till the floor.

The palace is in Hyderabad city
itself. So if you are planning to visit the city, do look for some budget
hotels in Hyderabad. The city, being a capital and a tourist hub too,
has a number of options including affordable
hotels in Hyderabad for frequent travellers.

It’s that amazingly pretty.
Marble flooring, ceiling as high as any other palace, full of antique
chandeliers, pillars carved with beautiful patterns and each floor converted
into museum for exhibiting items showcasing the lives of the Nizams like
crockery sets, weapons etc.

I was more than amazed to visit
this palace, and did not want to leave it AT ALL. I just wanted to stare at the
walls, the pillars…. I almost felt like a queen, somewhat jealous of
whoever lived there back in the time … hahaha !!

You can enjoy the pictures and
gaze at the beauty of the palace…. It is much more beautiful than these
pictures. I totally suggest everyone to go visit this, its one hell of a pretty
place to be in.
You will find a variety of stay
options in the city. From 3
star hotels in Hyderabad to the very easily available cheap
hotels in Hyderabad, there's something for all pockets. You can read more
about the Chowmahalla Palace and the Nizams here and here.
Till
next,
Enjoy
….
