Holy Moly sweeties
Well, please please don’t ask me what Holy Moly means. Just felt like saying it hence said … J
So, who all witnessed rainfall today? And if not the rainfall, then at least a heavily overcast sky? Well, I don’t like winter rains but since we cannot change it, lets just face it… shouldn’t we ;-)
Hmmm… anyways, most of us have at least one lipstick and one eye liner as a staple in our vanity. Even if not for everyday use, then at least those special occasions when we want to dress up. Everything aside, liquid eyeliner will definitely be in there. I may have graduated from using occasional eyeliner to using it almost everyday, yet deep inside I still am that heavy kohl and lip balm girl.
Well, I am on an eternal search for decent liquid eyeliner. One, which I can apply with ease on days when I am running for work and don’t have the strength and prowess to use gel and pencil eyeliners. My recent brush with a reputed eyeliner turned really bad (will review it soon) as it had one of the worse brushes ever. I reluctantly bought a new one and trust me, a week since I have been using it, I kinda feel I am going to repurchase it for sure.
So Girls, put your hands together for the

On the Outside
The Lotus Opulence Botanical Eyeliner is in a very cute small bottle, with a long conical lid that has the felt tip brush. The bottle is quite sturdy and the cap fits well too. Indeed travel friendly. This bottle comes in a nice hard paper packaging which has basic details, but the ingredients are missing.

On the Inside
Not a jet black or blackest black eyeliner, but a good black eyeliner for everyday use. Matte, quick drying, smudge proof, not fully water proof but decent enough, needs two swipes for full on colour… this is how the Lotus Opulence Botanical eyeliner can be described. The colour is well pigmented. The formula is not too runny and the conical tip felt applicator does a decent job too. On me, the eyeliner stays for around 6 to seven hours, although it fades a bit after 4 hours. Still, worth trying if you have loads of eyeliners or need a decent budget product.
