Hello berry kissed lips with Maybelline Electro Pop Berry Bomb babylips

By Tarry

WO! Helllllloooo my winter braving beauties...

So, how are you dealing with the North Indian winter chill? God! We haven't seen Mr Sun from the past two days... seems he too is in a holiday mood. Brrrrr...... even as I write, I just want to keep my hands inside my jacket sleeves to keep them warm.

I have oily skin which tends to become drier in such solid-wala winters. And my lips are the worse sufferers. So for me, a lip balm at home, a lip balm in bag and a lip balm in jacket pocket are a must. Recently, my jacket ke pocket wala lip balm got over and I had to refill it. I was in two minds about going either for the new launch Lakme ones or my favourite as ever, the Maybelline Baby Lips.
But the moment I saw the new Electro Pop range, I was sure that I am going back to my tried and tested Baby Lips. The colours and the fragrance is just superb and the tint is decent enough too. So, my jacket wala lip balm has been refilled now and here I am, talking about the

On the outside
The upper paper packaging is similar to all Maybelline baby lips, decent and cute. But inside comes the total cuteness in the packaging. Since berry bomb is a berry purple coloured lip balm, the transparent cover has Baby lips written in bold pink colour. The base tube is black and the balm doesn't completely go inside, peeking a bit making the packaging even more cute ;-)

On the inside
When I was buying the electro pop, I was confused between Berry Bomb and Pink Shock. While Pink shock is more pinkish, this is a mauvish pink which has a purplish tinge. In the tube, it looks more purple but comes out as a mauvish tint on the lips which looks so natural and healthy. The balm is super smooth, has a very amazing smell and keeps the lips smooth and hydrated for atleast 4 hours. Used at night, you wake up with super soft lips. Amazing..... !!!

Maybelline Electro Pop Berry Bomb for smooth lips review

Thumbs Down for
-       The balm keeps peeking out a little so it is difficult to keep it safe without getting a scratch.
- Doesn't perform to its claim of 8 hours.
- No SPF :'-( Why Maybelline Why!!!

Maybelline Electro Pop Berry Bomb swatch review

Berry Bomb Electro Pop from Maybelline Baby Lips is one of the best launches this winters. It not only makes the lips kissably smooth, but also adds the lovely mauvish berry colour which makes you drive those winter blues away. A must have range for sure.
