Hi My lovelies….

Last week was like whirlwind tour of emotions. Lot happened and lot will happen… and life seems to have become a complete roller coaster. I need loads of prayers and loads of support girls… really !

Anyways, all this took a bit of toll on my health too. But finally, am perfectly fine now and back to blogging as well. I am not a very lipstick-holic kind of a girl but then there are some colours which I really love. And coffee hued shades are one of them.

Whether it is dark coffee like shades, mocha like or just simple cappuchino like, I love them all. So when I was opting for a MAC lipstick for myself in a coffee hue, I zeroed in on a beautiful MAC colour that was earlier a limited edition, but is now permanent. 

And permanent in my life too…

Heard that initially, Double Shot was a limited edition shade. But now, this is a part of MAC's permanent collection. Signature classic black bullet in matte finish, no details on the tube but all on the outer box. Shade name and finish mentioned below…. That is always the same with MAC na…

On the Inside 

For the fair beauties, Double Shot is the best bet if you want to wear brown and look good. For the medium skinned, this can be a neutral lipstick which you can sport everyday and for the dusky ones, this may be like an MLBB. So basically, every skin tone can find their likeness for this full bodied cappuchino kinda shade…. Texture is amazing and does give a fuller feel to your lips. It stays on for a decent time, although it does transfer. Pigmentation is wonderful too. In all, a nice buy.

- Definitely needs some eye makeup or can wash you out.

MAC’s Double Shot is indeed an interesting colour. It can make you look gorgeous one day, or just plain and pale on the other. You need to adore it and love it really hard, and it would surely work for you. I kind of love the Double Shot, because it gives that extra punch on my lips :-)
