On the Outside

NYX products are simply packed with plain jane bodies, but inside resides the killer product. This shimmer eyeshadow comes in a black cubical body. It opens with an effortless push from push towards the top from the centre. It is small so can easily fit in your makeup kits.

On the Inside

Not very commonly heard as an over the counter product, it surely is an amazing brand. The shimmer eye shadow comes in semi creamy + powder form, extremely smooth to apply and light feel over the skin. The Shimmer look is to die for. It's filled in with a good amount of colour ... good enough to last you a year. This can be applied over the eye lids simply to give a shimmer touch, right under the eyebrows to highlight them, near the tear ducts or can be mixed with other colours for mixed eye makeup. One can also use it as a cheek highlighter. Although the name may be vanilla shimmer, but it has a nice rose gold kind of base which makes it so awesome.

WOW, what a fabulous colour Aakriti and so cheap too. NYX is indeed a wonderful brand and its eyeshadows and soft matte lip creams are to die for. Heard that Loreal has taken over NYX and now, I think the brand would be more easily available in India. And wo! the EOTD.... awesome girl...
