Ok… So we have been missing in action for sometime now. 

Well, I have been in the middle of shifting the house and was practically without internet for the longest time L 

Hence, the bloggie baby seemed to be resting too… J

Autumn has already arrived and winter too would be knocking our doors soon. Ofcourse we want to look our fashionable best. 

What could be better than getting some expert advice? 

So PEL connected to young designer Vidhi Shah, whose label B.Kind is making waves in the affordable and fashionable garments market, and asked her a few questions. Here’s the chitchat, exclusively for PEL.

PEL: What would the fall winter fashion scene would be this year, especially in the Indian context?

Vidhi: Monochrome trend is big this season so it’s a must have in ones wardrobe for sure.

PEL: Prints seem to be a big thing even for autumn and winters. How does one include it in their wardrobe without going overboard?

Vidhi: Print on print has become a popular trend but it is very important to know how to style print on print. Some simple tips while wearing print on print is to keep colors complementary and keep one of the 2 pieces understated and subtle. Floral and stripes together also make very good print on print combo and you will see a lot of that in our SS15 collection. Pair busy prints like Ikat or abstract prints with classics like gingham or stripes.

PEL: What are those five must have items one must have in their wardrobe for fall/winter to look their fashionable best ?

Vidhi: 5 must-haves would be a multi-print scarf that would match most of the clothes in your wardrobe, a smart jumper can be styled in many different ways to create different looks, a nice leather bag, a pair of ankle length boots and a leather or a cool looking jacket. Most of these can be styled in man different ways to create a different look each time.

PEL: What are some of the colours that one should certainly wear to look fashionable in fall/winter 2014?

Vidhi: Monochrome prints are big and besides there is something about deep colours like burgundy, oxblood, camel, violets, blues and olives that never go out of trend especially in the winter and I am biased to those colours
