Before
you start craving for a black forest flavored pastry after reading this title, do read this new post ;-) Having teased you enough, let me present to you a wonderful location of
Europe, which should not be skipped at all while you make a trip to Europe or
Germany.

Black forest is the highest and
largest mountain range of Germany and now for me, a regular holiday spot. 4
hours away from Mainz (by car), Black Forest appears to be an incredible
piece of nature which soothes your eyes and soul with its immense beauty, freshness
and energy.

The natural beauty of Germany and few friends here have made me a big
hiking and trekking enthusiast. Walking
for long in jungles with a backpack, unlimited talks and constant admiration of
the outstanding view around have become my favorite hobby. So, for a person
like me, 'Black forest' is like a shrine to be visited without fail. ;-)
But, at
the same time if you are looking forward to sight-seeing or relaxing and rejuvenating
yourself than also it's still a so called shrine. We were there for 3 days,
which were just insufficient to see even quarter of the 'black forest' .

It was
quiet cold there even in the month of August, but you will be surprised to know
that this place is more occupied by visitors in the peak months of winters to
pursue the fun of 'skiing''. Pre-bookings of stay are highly recommended as it
is a visitor's all-time favorite holiday spot. Most of the houses there have
turned themselves into hotel and we too stayed in a similar one. First day,
after our arrival we were enough late to go for the several activities, so we
chose to hike for few kilometers only.

The
dense forest, small waterfalls at places, the sight of light green grass with
the dark green trees rather filled us with more energy to walk and pose ;-)
The
second day there, turned more exciting when we were given some complimentary
vouchers from the hotel to access the various activities. We immediately rushed
for the first adventure which was a 'Rollercoaster''.
We had to wait enough in
the line, but the experience of going up to the mountain in an open trolley and
coming down on 2.9 km long roller coaster made my day.

This experience was then the topic for the lunch
till the time we did not finish the delicious Italian food followed by an
exotic cup of dessert and a beautiful location around. We had many vouchers but
limited time. Yogesh wanted me to take to the places where he have already
been, so next we moved towards 'feldsee', a very beautiful lake surrounded with
the mountains from all sides. It was the call of further hiking for 4 km on a
tough passage.

One
thing that cannot be afforded to be missed are the houses of Black forest. A
big 'wow' for them. The dark brown wooden hut style houses decorated with
different colored flowers makes the place. Next day also, we could not utilize
more vouchers as we had to leave for Paris after little sight-seeing.
We
visited another very beautiful waterfall of 97 metres long, which was still not the
biggest waterfall of Black forest. So, all in all this amazingly beautiful
place left me with so many reasons to come back soon. And I will be there soon
to reveal more about it here for you all.

I loved each information provide specially the pics . You look fab, lovely and beautiful. Till now i have eaten black forest but from now i would like to see the place soon. Your help for guiding will be appreciated. One thing i can make out from your post is that we need at least 7days to see the place fully...
