Parineeti Chopra’s Daawat-e-Ishq inspired makeup look (collab post)

By Tarry

Heya my lovelies…

So the festival season has finally started setting in. And I love the amalgamation of different cultures in this festival season. While most of the country would be busy celebrating Durga Puja, Navratras and Dusshera, another big chunk would be gearing up for Bakrid celebrations.

So keeping in mind the festive mood with this combination in tow, I collaborated with a wonderful youtuber, Bidisha of Fashion with Bidisha to create two Bollywood inspired look.

While Bidisha chose Sonam Kapoor’s Look from the recent flick ‘Khoobsurat’, I decided to pick Parineeti Chopra’s look from the movie ‘Daawat-E-Ishq’. This look seemed perfect for Eid and Puja festivities.
Check out Bidisha’s awesome video here
Here's a grab of the look she created.

Before proceeding, please excuse the bad background and pix. The first lot got deleted from the comp and my cam and stuff are all shifted to my new house. So had to manage with these only L

Parineeti’s look in this particular photograph is dominated by the colour orange. So after creating a soft base with foundation (Loreal Nude Light Magic Powder Foundation), I used a bronze orange eye shadow mixed with a bit of matte brown in the crease for the eyes (ELF Neutrals Palette). I filled my brows and then, created a black winged liner (Lakme 9 to 5 Black Impact) as Parineeti mostly wears winged eye liner in the film.

I used a lot of bronzer on the face because that is what brings out the glow on Parineeti’s face (Loreal Duo Bronzer and Highlighter). On the cheeks, apples, as contouring tool on jawline and near forehead, the bronzer played a major role here.

Finally on the lips, it was MAC Mocha topped with Colorbar Velvet Matte lipcolour in Obsessed Orange, since the former looks too neonish on me. While Parineeti wears her hair straight here, I kept mine natural as I am off heating tools for a while.

Overall, I liked the look and feel it would go well with all complexions and almost all types of dresses. Do tell me how you liked this one.
