Street Vs Brands : Those thin dainty belts
By Aakriti
"From slipping pants to tucked in
shirts .. everyone needs a belt to hold them up our waists J
Hey Lovely girls out there…
I am back… and I am fashionable…
and I talk fashion here…
Back again on Street Vs Brands, this
week's post is on thin belts.
One cant live on a plain black
belt just because it matches almost everything … ofcourse to be with the times
and to be happy, one need to try new to be different.
So here’s the thin belt from the STREET category :
Street Vs Brands : Those thin dainty belts |
This brown snake print belt is one such accessory, which will add that much needed oomph to your plain wardrobe, with just it's tiny little presence over the waist. It's silver buckle gives it an even more subtle look !
Brown is one such neutral colour
which can be paired with almost everything, because of it's earthy nature. It
goes with denims and pants of all colours.
I happened to have picked this
belt up from a street vendor in 17 sector Chandigarh at INR 100 only.
It's a very casual belt and can be only worn at casual occasions or even over daily bases.

Cheetah ! one such animal print
which attracts almost every girl ! This belt is one such accessory that acts as
an eye catcher on your dull clothes, that makes with those plain colours and no
bling factor. It's golden H shaped buckle not only resembles the logo as that
of "Hermes" but also acts a tiny piece of jewel over the waist.
I happened to have picked this
from Forever 21 in Delhi at INR 450 only. It has velvety material which makes it's
shelf life longer than the street belt and ofcourse this turns out to be an apt
investment for your wardrobe.
This belt can be paired with casual as well as semi formal clothes. Wear it with bold colours.. Or just wear it whenever you want J

PEL Shouts : Oh My God girl, you have such a thin waist… Btw, loved the feature as ever. And this time around, for me brands won hands down over streets. I agree that such belts have a better longevity. Lovely piece Aakriti.
How do you find this feature on PEL ?
What are your favourite brands or markets for picking up thin belts ? What kind of belts do you love?
