OOTD : H&M dress with D&G watch

Indian Girl Foreign Land

By Tripti

Hiiiii all….

Thanks for the warm welcome… This is my first post on Indian Girl Foreign Land and I am really happy…
It’s been 5 months in Germany. The place is amazing, and now that I have to live here, I just wanna share whatever makes me go ‘WOW’.
When I came here, it was quite cold and I saw people in some basic shades like black, grey, brown….. I was happy to see colours in my wardrobe. But with the arrival of summer, I was astonished to see so many colours, so many different styles and combinations of dresses, new make-up style, hair-do’s etc. So, I did not want to be a left out one and I pushed myself for a makeover.

Unlike other things fashion is the fastest one to change. Either you pick it up and let your looks do the talking or you stay left out and miss the fun of being a ‘head turner’. Well I, myself, am not a fashion queen but it’s high time for me to turn from “presentable only” to smart. And yes, it doesn’t take much time but our little efforts.

I love to wear skirts and dresses in summers. First, I feel very relaxed in them and second, I cannot wear them in winters J My one piece floral print dress is from H&M. I am not a huge fan of floral prints but couldn’t resist buying it after trying it on me. It’s a pleasant colour for summers and have smart cut out sleeves and back. The colour is as good in evening and as well as for day time. You can always club it with a black shrug, which I found complementing.

My pair of sandals is from my favourite brand S.Oliver. It does have a BIG price tag, but I always wait for sales to shop brands. I did not intend to match my footwear with my dress but coincidentally owned the combination. This sandal goes with all kinds of my casual dresses including denims, skirts and leggings.

Here is my very efficient side bag from Marc Picard.  Probably you will see it again hanging on my sides. I just love it for carrying my all the tiny-mini and other important things. And it looks so versatile that I don’t have to think much about combining my dresses with it.

The best for the last. My watch from D&G. I did not buy it (it’s a gift from someone special). Well, it’s not very casual but just enhances my overall look when I wear it. My neck piece is the one I randomly picked from some Mall in India. This kind of stuff is by default found in most of the girls’ collection.
