Get 'Max'ed out this monsoons with MAX - Fashion update

By Tarry

Hey my lovelies...
How was your weekend? Am sure all of you must be overflowing with the love you got and shared on Raksha bandhan. Me too feeling the same.

PEL recently collaborated with Fashion Designer and stylist Basant of Insync with Basant Anuj and Max Fashions to check out what the brand is offering for monsoons. We all know that MAX is a wonderful brand that offers very vibrant, colourful and fashionable outfits at really affordable prices. I myself am quite a regular at MAX.

So below are some of looks which we scouted through with Basant in MAX, that he feels are so apt for monsoons and even pre autumn weather (These are from the brand's pre autumn '14 collection) and fit the budgets for even college girls.

All these gorgeous pix have been once again clicked by the super talented Vaidehi Kapur for PEL.

Monsoons are all about colour and also, outfits and fashion that makes you feel comfortable. Teal blue sleeveless top in cotton, teamed with lovely yellow palazzos is just what you can wear when you wanna enjoy the breezy weather. The palazzos are really in this season and look awesome. I loved the second combo of peachy orange top with lovely embroidery and the blue printed pants. They actually scream monsoons because the colours are so vibrant.

Breezy floral print dresses are always a forte with MAX for those who love their western wear. I particularly loved these two, which Basant suggests can be teamed with a thin belt (we reviewed a few recently in Streets Vs Brands section). While the one above is for those who prefer to wear sleeves and lighter colours, if you are happy and bold enough to carry spaghetti straps, check the one below. It's awesome.

What I really love about MAX is that the brand screams colour all through the year. So even the Pre Autumn Collection '14 has to be loads of colours. And the Indian wear is an interesting amalgamation of prints with colours. Florals, geometric, aztec... almost everything is here... Take your pick :-)

The tops and tees at MAX too speak colour. Priced below Rs 499, most of these are ideal to wear to college and even go for a lunch date, a coffee date or just a hangout with the gang. Check some below.

MAX also has an interesting collection of shoes. From peaches to blues to pastels, nudes and brights.... you will surely find something to match your choice and senses. They are all super comfy and make long walks during monsoons a very pleasant affair.

There were many more but I personally loved the peach and the blue ones above. They are really a must have.

And below is something which Basant picked up for me to team with my red denims for a fusion kinda look in monsoons. It's a short kurti in cotton that oozes prints and colours.

Vibrant, colourful, comfortable and affordable ... these are just a few words which define MAX's Pre Autumn '14 Collection and makes them so apt for monsoons. Do check them out at MAX Stores in your cities. Check their website http://www.maxfashionretail.com/
