The magical ingredient from chutney to cleanser - Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Tamarind

By Tarry

So finally, monsoons are here. Drenching us all with loads of love and fun.
I love monsoons a lot. Somehow, I feel every time it rains, it washes away some sorrows from the heart of Earth.
Now that it comes with water logging and hair and skin woes is a different thing altogether ;-) Still, my love for monsoons continues.

Hmm, skin woes right. And who will understand it more than my oily skin beauties. Those with combination and oily skin really dread monsoons and are always on a lookout for products that can at least let them smile in monsoons too.
This is my saga as well and I keep experimenting till the time I finally settle for something good.

Now how many of you love Tamarind chutney? For me, its a monsoon must with all the delightful samosas and pakodas. Infact, sometimes I also like tamarind chutney with french fries and even garlic bread... so much for my Tamarind love...
So how about some Tamarind for your skin today?
I may not call it the HG or the best product, but it does a decent job.

Presenting to you my dear ladies,
The Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Tamarind

ON THE INSIDE :

The cleanser is off whitish in colour. No nothing like my favourite Tamarind chutney. It is quite thick and creamy and a little goes a long way. It is has blue pearls like thing, which is not abrasive and does a decent job of cleaning the skin. I apply it on damp face with my fingers and it lathers really well. On a regular day, it washes away oil, dirt, basic makeup (not your heavy duty waterproof types) quite effectively. Infact, it leaves your skin super matte and super clean. I love to wash my face with this on days which are super humid and make my face look like a deep fried pakoda :-) The skin stays matte for a very long time. No breakouts nothing. Overall, impressive.
