So finally, it has started raining. Monsoons are finally here… So it means more times indoor and less time shopping. But does anything stop a shopaholic… naaaa… J

Today I bring to you my post on the most essential accessory a woman carries – PURSE!

From a pen to lipstick to comb to notepad… we have it all chucked at in one single purse! Poor thing doesn't even get to breath !!!

And Tote purses are so very in these days. They go well with almost every thing and every occasion.

So, for our small day trips or parties, I wish to showcase some lovely totes in this week’s STREET vs. BRANDS .

The first category, you all know by now, is STREET…

I happen to have picked this Bronze tote purse from not exactly a street sale but a small store in a street lane in sector 35 Chandigarh called "Sparkles".

It’s blingy, it’s compact, it’s quilted and has got a single chain strap to it…. Perfect for girls…

It's the best match fixer to a nice cocktail dress with same coloured matching heels or a belt on the dress.

Being a metallic colour it's easy to pair this up with almost all shades. It can accommodate up to one mini wallet, a lipstick (for those who love and need touchups) , and maybe few other small items. Not very spacious but like I said ... appropriate for a short visit to an event where it acts more like a style statement than your mini luggage.

I happened to have picked it for a reasonable price for its rexin, inner lining and chain strap at INR 600 only.

The next my beloveds, is BRANDS

The international Store "Accessorize" with its outlets in many parts of India has almost become the heart throb for all girls with its wide collection of accessories. I being one of it's fan, happened to have picked this Snake print, nude shade tote purse at 50% off during sale time. 

Being a chain strap lover I couldn't resist to purchase this semi formal tote from there. Its shade is neutral and can match with a lot of clothes especially black, white, grey and off white.

It's a little more spacious than the above purse and therefore can also be taken for short drive to nearby places, malls, lunch with the gang or evening snacks. Fill it in with your favourite novel, wallet, makeup pouch and other small items and you are good to go.

In the sales, it costed me INR 1699, but its an amazing deal from a store like such. I’ve used it roughly, chucked it on rough surfaces and not a single injury has it got…. So it indeed is like an investment…
