No no no... this time its not from my fiction piece. I googled for some beautiful lines on lips and this is what I came across. These lines are indeed beautiful and hence, I thought of sharing them here. 

Lipsticks are such an integral part of our lives aren't they. Even when I was in the lip balm phase, I did have a few lipsticks that I used to wear on those special occasions. And ever since my passion increased, I have been on a constant hunt for some awesome matte lipsticks that I can wear almost everyday. 
And no, they should not be the nude or the MLBB types... But MLLB types... that's my way of saying My Lips a Lot Better ;-) 

I have tried the Chambor Powder Matte range earlier and was quite impressed by them. But somehow, the fat blue bullet turned me off! I did not like it sitting on my vanity or my hands... Lips were fine though. So recently, when I was searching for some MLLB type lipstick, the SA at Chambor called out to me... "Madam, some new shades in matte... Check kar lijiye.." 

I was like no way! No more of those fat tubes. But I was surprised to see sleek, classy looking black tubes. Some swatching, and I found the formula much better than the earlier ones. They had been reinvented indeed. I picked up two and this is my MLLB shade ...

ON THE OUTSIDE :

The Chambor Powder Matte Lipsticks now have a new packaging. They are more sleek rectangular tubes in black and silver, which shut well and look really classy. The outer cover is bluish black and has all the details of the product including ingredients as well. The packaging is not only beautiful, but also sturdy and travel friendly. Love this change Chambor and kudos for such classy stuff :-)

ON THE INSIDE :

Hmmm... powder matte eh! are they extremely drying? Are they totally unforgiving...? Well no! They are velvetty matte indeed which are so lovely to apply on your lips. So smooth and no tugging at all. Also, they set to a lovely matte finish which does not settle into lines or dry lips further. However, a lip balm prepped up base always helps. The lipstick is shaped beautifully, which helps in filling in the colour in the corner most areas of your lips with extreme ease. The colour Rose Freque is a true rose pink colour. Beautiful, serene yet classy. It can be worn almost everyday by women across all complexions, as it is a dark shade but not in your face types. Doesn't call for attention, but gives your lips that lovely MLLB look which I so adore. Infact, it has become one of my most reached out lipsticks off late. 
The pigmentation is super awesome too. One swipe, lovely colour. Two swipes... awesome. They are non-transfer after they set and man! they remain there for 7 to 8 hours... with little fading... Phew! That's a lot of talking :-)

-       Easy availability.

-       Awesome matte texture that doesn't leave the lips too dry, smooth to use, no tugging.

-       Great staying power. Imagine a 7 hr stay with bare minimum fading. 
- Travel friendly packaging with all information. 
- SPF 15 (so good for Indian summers )
- A colour that would suit all complexions at all times of the day.
- True Rose pink that all pink lovers would like. 
- A nice option for MLLB.

- A bit costly for those on budget. 

- Can dry out very dry lips. Lip balm needed indeed.
