Nature’s essence Lacto Tan Clear Lacto Bleach – Review
By

Hola
my lovelies…
In our lives, we always come across these two terms, pre and post. Whether it is prenatal and post natal care, or prepayment and post payment, these two words never leave us. So can these words leave us in our skin care schedule too…? Naaaah!
Earlier,
I was never a pre and post junkie… But then, changes do happen and in my case,
they happened with skin care related to sun. So while sunscreens and sunblocks
became a staple for me for my pre-sun care, I also started looking for post-sun
care products that could take care of the little damage that may have happened.
And no, I did not want to use the regular ‘bleach’ method every month. So
started my experiments and finally, I have found three products which take care
of the tan that you may end up having.
As
a part of the suncare week, presenting to you my dearies, is
the
Nature’s Essence Lacto Tan Clear Bleach
What the brand Claims :
Milk proteins and honey enriched special bleach cream helps remove the epidermal
sun tan, thereby restoring the natural fairness of the skin and also preventing
pigmentation due to harmful sun. Its matte effect is ideal for hot climates and
the cream also helps enhance after facial glow.
Price : Rs 145 for 100 gms (jar
packing) and Rs 85 for 40 gms (tube packing)
Availability : Almost everywhere
which stocks beauty parlour stuff and now, online sites like Purplle.com,
flipkart and Indiatimes shopping.
Key ingredients :
Milk, honey and Geranium Oil.
On the outside :
The mask comes in a strong white
opaque jar packaging, which has a small plate cap over the bottle, followed by
a big screwable cap. The jar packaging is housed in a hardpaper rectangular box
that looks lovely with white, silver and yellow colours on it. The jar
packaging may be unhygienic, but it is quite sturdy and easy to travel with.
The cap can be used for keeping the scooped out required product to avoid
contamination.

On the inside :
The bleach is peachish white in
colour with pearly finish, just like those vanishing creams. I prefer to call
it a mask because the instructions say it has to be applied on the tanned area
and kept for 10 to 15 minutes. I use a thick layer on the skin and massage it a
bit. After 15 min, it is a little drier (although not like those mud masks). I
then prefer to wet my hands, massage this mask and then, wash off with cold
water.
The overall impact has been
really good. On the first use, you will find a drastic difference in the tan
and the skin looks more even toned indeed. Regular usage (alternate days)
ensures that the tan goes away by 98 per cent. However the smell is too
chemical like which may irritate sensitive noses. Also, the pack makes the skin
dry, so dry skinned beauties would need to follow it up with moisturizer. I use
it at night as I feel that it works better that ways. Also, it doesn't damage skin like other bleaches over long term use. I have been using it since last three years and never suffered breakouts etc.
Thumbs up for :
- Easily available
- Quite economical
- Can be used for all skin types.
- Does efficiently remove 98 per
cent of the tan with regular usage.
- Makes the skin more even toned.
- Cools the skin after a ‘tan-ful’
day.
- No breakouts.
Thumbs down for :
- Smell is very chemical like
which may irritate sensitive noses.
- Makes the skin dry so people
with dry skin would need a moisturizer.
- Not a completely herbal product.
PEL Shouts :
A perfect solution to take care
of tanned skin, especially for the feet and arms. This product does what it
claims, keeps us happy to enjoy the sun. A definite purchase for summers.
