IPL Special Mumbai Indians inspired EOTD - step by step, using maybelline kohl and kajal
By
Tarry
Hey my lovelies….
How was your weekend? I am sure
whatever may have happened, you all woke up to a fresh new start today morning.
You know, I always spend atleast 5 minutes in the sun every morning, trying to
grasp in as much energy as I can. I started this some three years ago, and
always feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.
This weekend was quite fruitful
for my blog. I managed to do my first ever EOTD for the blog. Although I had a
tough time taking pics (hats off to all those bloggers who manage awesome pix)
and finally had to opt for my mobile camera instead of my dslr, I still think I
did a decent job.
And the products which I used were so simple that I felt
anyone can do it. I replicated the look for a party and everyone loved it. I was quite confused about
naming this Eye makeup look when my friend and an awesome youtuber Bidisha Sinha
(mermaid bidisha of Fashion with Bidisha) suggested a wonderful name. So
presenting to you my lovelies,
IPL Special Mumbai Indians
Inspired Eye makeup.
Products used :
-
Any
eye primer or bb cream.
-
Maybelline
Colossal kajal black.
-
Maybelline
Colossal Kohl in Turquoise.
-
A
blending brush or a simple q-tip (cotton bud).
-
A
beige/ neutral coloured eye shadow.
Ok… I know the pix aren’t that
great, but am sure you will shower some love on my first attempt J
Step by Step :
Step 1 : Prime your lids using
primer or BB cream. Dunno why my eyelashes are looking white here L
… If you see me in person, I
have the blackest eyelashes in my family.
Step 2 : Apply the Maybelline
Colossal Kohl in Turquoise in a thick and uneven line over the upper lashline.
Step 3 : Create a ‘V’ in the outer corner. Apply the same coloured
kohl on your lower lash line, thicker on the outer corner, leaving the tear
duct area.
Step 4 : Blend the Maybelline
Colossal Kohl in Turquoise to smoothen the edges. Apply beige/nude coloured eye
shadow on the middle of your lids and blend well. Blend it on your lower lash
line too.
Step 5 : Apply a thick line of Maybelline
Colossal kajal black on your upper lids as an eyeliner. Also, apply the same on
your waterline. Also, tightline your lids.
Step 6 : Slowly smoke out and
blend the black kajal with the Turquoise kohl to make it look dark and intense.
Step 7 : Apply one more layer of
the turquoise kohl on the upper lid only and blend again.
Here is the final look.
We all know about how the Mumbai Indians are
performing in the IPL this time, but I hope my performance has been better :-)
This
is my first attempt and your comments, suggestions, advice and love will decide
the future. But I feel that this is simple look which can be worn by everyone
at anytime of the day.
Have you tried turquoise eye makeup looks ?
