Random Chit Chat – giveaway prize for me and lot more :-)

Hey lovelies…

How have you all been doing? AAH! Is the summer catching up with you already? Well, the season may not be catching up with me, but the seriousness is. Life is not the best at the moment and I hope all of you would please hope things get better… Please do….

Anyways, amidst the dark clouds, there have been some sunrays for me as well. And that is what keeping my smile on. I rarely have luck with giveaways, especially those where there isn’t any skill needed. But that doesn’t stop me from participating. Like a true Indian… na jaane kab lottery lag jaaye J And one blogger whose giveaways are truly awesome is Shalini from Be Beautilicious. Recently, she had a giveaway offering an awesome travel cheek and eye palettes from Stila. I randomly participated in it and although I had kept my fingers crossed, yet it seemed like a forgone chance for me. But one day, while commenting on FB to another blogger friend, Shalini wrote to me that I had won her Stila Giveaway.

What! Am I reading right! There has been no change in my eye sight na .. J Yes, she confirmed it that I have won it. I was on cloud nine. And then, as soon as I had the beauty in my hands, I was jumping with joy. 

It is such a cute palette which is so travel friendly. Five lovely eyeshadows (including one highlighter and two of my super favs in black and blue) and a beautiful blush…. Shalini… I can’t thank you enough love… <3 <3 <3 this has turned into my favourite indeed. Here is the pic (Sorry for not posting the real pic. This was taken from the Stila website.. the open one is the palette I got, not all three :-) I would be posting the real palette pix with a lovely eye makeup look soon.

The second happiness arrived in form of one of the prettiest lipsticks I have ever tried. Ever since I started loving bright colours, I was always lusting for Ruby Woo. I have a dupe for it, also another MAC red lipstick in Charmed I’m sure from the Marilyn Monroe Collection, but Ruby Woo was always high on my lust list. And then I found someone selling it, barely used. 

WOW! I grabbed the opportunity. And after a lot of toil and turmoil (that’s a long story on how it finally reached me), the classic red is finally in my hands. And now, I really know why the world swears by it. Just a swipe and you have a dull day brightened up… Love Ruby Woo <3 <3 <3
