MAC Fluidline in Midnight Snack – Review, Swatch, EOTD and FOTD

Heylo beauties…

It was such a refreshing thing to see loads of people flaunting their ‘inked’ fingers on FB, twitter and Instagram yesterday. With most of the places witnessing a voting percentage of over 50 per cent, it seems nice to see atleast people coming out and exercising their right. In my city, polls happen on April 30 and I am really excited about them J

Hmmm…. So far so much… <3 How are summers going for you guys? Well, for me, I am trying my best to love them. So much happening in life and it is only the love for nature and my faith in God that is keeping me sane. Anyways, here I am back with another eye product review. Now, much before I jumped onto the lip colour lover wagon, I was an eye colour lover. Even in college, when I did nothing as makeup (not even wore sunscreen at times and had a very very bad tan L ) I still used to love wearing coloured kohls. Although there weren’t many options, still I liked it. And I still love using colour on my eyes atleast.

So recently, I was going crazy to buy some MAC fluidlines. Since I don’t have MAC in my city, I asked some friends to get a few for me. But somehow, I wasn’t able to wait. So I ended up buying a beautiful MAC fluidline from a blogger, Srilata of Sparkles unlimited. Thanks Revathy for pointing it to me J And boy, I got such a fab colour and it was a full tub…
Thanks a ton Srilata <3 <3

It has been my staple since the day I got it and I can sport it with anything. Presenting to you my lovelies, the beautiful
 MAC fluidline in Midnight Snack

Price : Rs 1100 for 3 gm (tiny… but ok…)

Availability : This was a Limited Edition from Shop Mac Cook Mac Collection L Not sure whether a similar colour is available at MAC.

Packaging : The usual MAC fluidline glass tub with black plastic cap. Very classy and sturdy. U know, I have even saved the packaging of my last fluidline J Although often I feel it may break if it falls.

My cents : This is one of the sexiest colours I have ever tried on my eyes. I dunno why but offlate I am madly in love with grey on my eyes. Gives such a nice sultry look ;) So this one seemed perfect for that.
The fluidline Midnight snack is for those days when you don’t want a black or a brown on your eyes. It’s a deep charcoal grey with silver shimmers, that are not chunky or stark. The shimmers are nicely blended into the super creamy butterlike smooth texture of this shade. Infact, the shimmers look nice when worn at night.

The colour is awesomely pigmented. It applied very smoothly on my lids and one stroke is lovely for a smokey like effect. Two swipes and the colour is awesomely sultry. I have noticed its good for lower lashline and waterline too…
The fluidline stays on my eyes for a good 7 to 8 hours without smudging and is waterproof too. It fades a bit, but only the shimmer, not the colour J

Here comes the swatch. Sorry for the blurry pix :-(

And here is my EOTD. Hope you guys like this :-)

And Lo and behold... the FOTD.... sorry for the flat hair girls! it was just another bad hair day :(

PEL SHOUTS : I am in love with this colour and I can shout aloud for it. For those who are looking for an alternative to black and want sultry looking eyes, this is just the perfect bet. I am also looking for a dupe for it. So if you guys come across any, do share Also, don't forget to participate in my blog's first ever giveaway.

Have you tried the MAC Fluidlines ? Which is your favourite shade? Do share you views and please leave in comments because it really encourages me and makes me superhappy :-D Also, share your blog titles with latest blog posts and we will form a mutual love connect :)
