O Womaniya 3 : This 'desi' stuff competes with the best of 'firangi' to make you shine...

Hi my lovelies....

How have you been doing? I am in the midst of so many things at the moment, still, I am now trying to be more regular to blogging. 

Continuing with the 'O Womaniya' Series, here is another beautiful initiative by the pretty Vanu Kaur. We all have seen their exquisite collection of accessories under the brand name : 

Singh and Kaur's Desi Firangi ... 

Who doesn't love jewellery? And semi precious and studded pieces are not only light on our pocket, but also give us a chance to splurge less and try more :) 

Vanu's DF is such an initiative. 

A small intro of Vanu : 

An ex-blogger, a full time HR executive with MBA degree and now Proud Co-owner of family run jewellery business of Singh&Kaur's Desi Firangi, Jewellery store.

How did DF happen?

 "I always wanted to do something of my own but Desi Firangi which was formerly 'BeautifulSheForever Shop' actually started in year 2012. So after first starting, took a year or so break and re-launched it in a New Avatar as 'Singh&Kaur's Desi Firangi' in 2013 end."

 

What is the kind of collection being offered by Singh & Kaur's Desi Firangi? 

"Desi Firangi has a wide range of Polki, American Diamond, Kundan, Pearl jewellery among others which is especially hand picked to cater clients in India & abroad so we are always in look-out for offering something new, different to everyone." 

Journey till now...

"Desi Firangi's jewellery is entirely about designer jewellery Minus Designer tags! We dont compromise on quality. Our Goodwill & trust of clients is foremost priorty. I would like to mention here that without the support of my family (read In-Laws) “Singh&Kaur's Desi Firangi” would have always remained a dream. From being only Retailers to Suppliers and now, Exporters, my family has been running the show and they are the backbone of our venture. From full time job to meeting clients for the business, from researching on jewellery to meeting deadlines, they are behind and beyond, in this venture." 

Plans for the future? 

"In future, we are trying to donate a percentage of our earnings from sales to NGOs. Work-wise, we are planning exhibitions, fair stalls, customised jewellery to win more hearts, again without designer tags! You will also see us offering discounts from time to time. Would like to Thank you to each one here for taking out time and reading…. Looking forward to your love and support."
