Indola Hydrate Bi Phase conditioner - review, swatch and FOTD

Hey my lovelies...

Wishing you a lovely and a happy Women's Day in advance. Am sure that this day and the year ahead will bring loads of happiness, joy and equality to all of us.

So how are all of you? Finally, it seems that spring is here. And although I love the season, I dread what it does to my normal to dry hair. Not only the spring winds make them super dry (straw-like if you may ask me), but also robs them off their shine and softness.

I really feel so pained and stressed when I see my crowning curlies in such a bad shape.

Before going any further, let me introduce you to my curlies. I have mid-length dry hair, which are extremely wavy and even turn into maggi noodles (Although I am not too fond of maggie :) when they are washed :-) They are a mix of auburn and brown naturally.

Recently, I went to my regular parlour wali for threading when she noticed that my hair was turning drier. She asked me about my hair care routine. And believe me, although I am very finicky about skincare, hair care is something I am regular with. My hair goes through an oiling-washing-conditioning-serum process twice a week and a weekly pampering session of pre-wash mask-washing-deep conditioning-serum. But in this season, nothing seems to be working beyond a day.

So she suggested me this wonder product. Since it was less than Rs 200 and came from a good brand, I decided to give it a try. It's been a month since I have been using it and now I can say, I absolutely love it.

Presenting to you my lovelies, the Indola Hydrate Bi-Phase conditioner, which is a leave-in product.

What are the company claims :

This hydrating bi-phase conditioner is formulated with essential bamboo extract and works deep down restoring natural moisture levels and leaving hair super soft, silky smooth and easy to manage. Use daily on towel dried or dry hair. Simply shake, spray and leave in. Exclusively professional.

Price :

Rs 180 for 100 ml (quite reasonable I must say... )

Ingredients :Loads of them, but there is a mention on bamboo extracts as well. I am sure it has some good stuff.

Availability :Only Indola Salon outlets and even online through Slassy.com

Packaging :

A white translucent bottle, simple design with blue and white labeling. The bottle has a pump nozzle, which helps in spraying the conditioner. It has a tight fitting cap, which makes it travel friendly. Not very high end, but solves its purpose well.

My take on the bi-phase conditioner :

I was quite skeptical when I got this conditioner. My experience with the leave in ones have been really bad as they made my hair heavy and limp. So for the first use, I tried it on my hair after towel drying them. Instead of applying a smoothening serum, I sprayed this on my hair. The liquid is two coloured, which is visible in the bottle from outside as well. It has to be shaken well before sprayed onto the hair. Just four sprays and my entire hair was covered well. It has a strong floral smell, which is one of the cons as it can be a problem for those with sensitive noses. However, most of this evaporates after a while and what is left behind is a lovely smell that makes your hair feel so fresh :-)

The conditioner is a white translucent runny substance, which does not leave any residue on the hair. It makes my hair really smooth and tangle free, with absolutely no breakage at all while combing :-)

Also, the hair looks more shiny and even after the ordeal of the harsh winds (I rode piggyback on a friend's bike leaving my hair open to test this ) and the sun. The effect lasts for a complete day which is good. Also, it is good for those with normal, dry and even super dry hair as I have had specimens for all types :-)

Below is a pic of my hair after I used it post washing my hair. This is a night pic in room light without flash. And pardon my no makeup face please.

I was all set to hit the bed.

See how smooth my hair looks. And the next pix is the hair on the third day of wash. I applied the conditioner to smooth out all tangles and get the shine renewed.

PEL SHOUTS : "O strong winds, play with my hair, make them dance and let all stare, coz I have a magical elixir for them, which gives them love and loads of care...."

I would say I am in absolute love with this bi-phase conditioner and it is a good budget leave in treatment for frizzy, dry and wavy hair. The only two cons it has are the strong smell and limited availability and that is why it gets a 4.85 on PEL scale.

Have you tried the Indola Hydrate Bi Phase conditioner
