Thank You Ritu, The Indian Beauty Blog
By Tarry
Hi friends,
How many times it happens with you that you enter a contest with absolutely not much hopes and then, suddenly, you get to know that u have won? Well, with me this doesn't happen often. Ever since I have started blogging, I have been participating in giveaways. Initially, just to get a hang of what it meant and then, to get the fabulous prizes.
However, I have realised that Random baba has some kind of a bias towards me : - ) I have never won any giveaways where winners are chosen through random. However, whenever there have been contests where some thinking was needed, I managed to sail through. So for me, it's effort and not luck which makes me a winner. And i like it that way.
Cutting my blabbering short, I first want to say a big Thank You to Ritu of The Indian Beauty Blog.
I recently started visiting The Indian Beauty blog by Ritu Rajput. The blog address is http://www.theindianbeauty.com. And believe me, I am hooked on to it like many other blogs I read. So recently, when Ritu held a giveaway where winners got Vivel body lotions, I thought of participating in it. All we had to do is to write a skin care tip which we follow.
I thought of sharing one of my simplest but always 'go-to' kind of tips involving just honey and rose water. Amidst many simple and exotic tips, I thought that my chances of winning were quite low.
But to my surprise, I got a mail from Ritu saying that I won the giveaway and would need to send in my details. I was super happy :D Afterall, who would not like to have a body lotion with winters setting in?
And finally, yesterday the packet arrived. I really loved how ITC people had packed it. There is a small rounded lock like thing to ensure that the pump is not pressed accidentally and the lotion spills out. I have decided to keep it. The bottle is a full size and one pump was enough for one hand. So this seems to last a long time.
Here are some shots. Please forgive me for bad pictures as I could not wait for better settings or lighting to show you all. I will soon review this lotion and will definitely have much better pictures :)
Once again, I really want to thank Ritu, the Indian Beauty Blog and even ITC for such a wonderful and apt gift for winters.
