Hey friends....
Finally Autumn is here. Today morning, I felt the nip in the air and also, the autumn smell.
Somehow, the autumn smell always inspires me and makes me so very full of life. It not only announces the arrival of winters, but also the arrival of so many wonderful festivals of all religions.
Anyways, stopping my blabbering on my love for autumn, I am now moving ahead with today's post. Presenting to you, some lip colours for fall/winter 2013. These colours suit almost all complexions and can be worn both subtle and dark. I am already eyeing a few of them and would review them as well. The post has been written in consultation with some of my Makeup artist friends.
1. MAC lip stick in Dark Side
This is MAC's famous amplified creme finish. Described as Deep cool tones burgundy mix red. Comes out really deep and intense on the lips.
2. MAC lip stick in Media
Defined as Deep, dark red wine colour with plum tones. It is the satin finish. A very popular shade for fall and winter.
3. REVLON Super Lustrous lipstick in Black Cherry
One of the darkest ones from the lot, this one is a really dark berry-maroon kinda shade. It's a creme finish lipstick with good pigmentation and staying power.
4. LAKME Absolute Matte Lip colour in Milan Red
Now one has to think why this one was named Milan Red, because it is nowhere near red. Infact, it's a deep plum kind of a shade, which comes out beautifully on the lips and despite being matte, doesn't dry out.
5. MAYBELLINE Superstay Lip colour in Please Stay Plum
This one is a soft plum with brown undertones. Can be build up into a much darker variant, perfect for fall and winters. It is highly pigmented.
Hope you like this article. I am lusting at black cherry and dark side for these winters. Have you tried any of these? Feel free to give your opinion for the same.
