Thanks for all the love and care you shared with me for my 50th post. There were so many thank you's due and so many names I wanted to take ... but then, it would have surely become a complete book. Thanks to each and every one of you and trust me, you all are so special to me... ^ _ ^ ... 

Finally, here I am with my first ever EOTD on the blog. I love eye makeup and like any Indian girl, atleast a kajal is staple for me. I love the colour black and always keep stacking different shades of black for different effects. So I have deep dark blacks, smokey intense looking blacks, ashy blacks, metallic blacks, blue tinged blacks, black with golden shimmers.... infact, almost anything and everything in black. I do have other colours of eye pencils too, which I would be reviewing super soon... pucca promeeeze... :-)

So my lovelies, today I am reviewing one of my favourite black eye pencil (as if others are not?? na na ...) that I can wear almost everyday for the nice, everyday intense look. Presenting to you my beauties... the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliner pencil in shade 41 'Black Party'.... raise your hands for this one.... :-)

The Contour Clubbing Waterproof eye pencil is the perfect finishing touch to a smoky look. Its waterproof formula is crease-resistant and makes for a perfect adherence of the colour. Its ultra-soft gliding texture enriched with jojoba and cotton oils intensely outlines the lash line. Remove with a waterproof make-up remover. Ophthalmologically tested (I like this fact)... 

Packaging : The Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliner pencil in Black Party in a sharpenable pencil form with a tight fitting cap. The body of the pencil and the cap is that of the colour of eyeliner, which is good. I carry it in the purse and the cap stays quite well. The letters describing the product are in metallic turquoise blue, which also look appealing and give the clubbing feel. A label also gives details of the best before date. 

The eyepencil is quite creamy but not so much that it may break. It does not tug or pull the eyelashes and this makes it super easy for application on the lids, tightline and waterline. Yes, since it is Ophthalmologically tested, it is good enough for the waterline too. The range has two blacks, namely atomic black and black party. While Atomic Black is more dark, this has a smoky kinda feel to it. That's the reason I chose this. 

I have been using it as a daytime smoky look pencil for the natural look almost everyday and am quite amazed by its staying power. On my oily lids, it stays for around 6 hours, after which it fades only a bit. It goes off only when removed with a good eye makeup remover or oil remover. The colour is such that it will look natural and yet, give you defined eyes. Perfect to make it the last addition to your smoky eye makeup too.

See... it is not very intense and yet, looks very very appealing. True to its claim, it is also waterproof although it may smudge a bit you rub your eyes. Infact, I think I can easily give it a 4.95 out of 5 on PEL scale... deducted .5 because I am still in search of my perfect black pencil ... 

And ladies... beware... don't get scared... coz here come the EOTD. 

I have used the eyeliner both on my lids and my waterline, smoking it on the outer corner a bit. It makes a perfect base for smoky eyes as well... just needs to be blended with a good brush or light fingers. 


Overall, I would say that it is a must have for all the black eye pencil lovers and at the price it is available, it is definitely worth it...
